The Hawaiian Hapu'u tree ferns have many branches and lacy leaves or fronds that may reach a height of thirty-five to forty feet. I was walking under a hapuu frond when I looked up and took this shot of a frond leaf silhouette in a beautiful Volcano, Hawaii rainforest.
I feel my photographs captures and shares my moments of intimacy and the relationship between light, shadow, and the element of composition of my beautifu Hawai’i.
