A popular fruit berry in Hawaii is also known as the cape gooseberry. The fuzzy-leaved Poha Berry bush produces about a 1" sweet/tart berry with smooth, waxy orange skin. This cucumber beetle is on the leaf of a Hawaiian poha berry bush. The berry in the background is protected in its lantern like covering as it ripens.

I feel my photographs captures and shares my moments of intimacy and the relationship between light, shadow, and the element of composition of my beautifu Hawai’i.
