Description
The Apapane is a small, crimson, species of Hawaiian honeycreeper endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. They are the most abundant and widely-distributed honeycreeper and are found on the islands of Hawaii, Maui, Lanai, Kauai, Molokai, and Oahu. This apapane is perched in a Ohia lehua tree in a Volcano rainforest on the island of Hawaii.
