This is a succulent rose plant after a watering from an early morning rain here at my home in Volcano, Hawai'i.

"Considered to be a hybrid of E. glauca and E. gibbiflora var. metallica. Forms saucer-like rosettes with deep blue leaves tipped with red. Leaf margins are nearly white giving a crisp metallic look. Many Echeverias grow on rocky outcroppings where water drains away from the roots. Use a very porous soil for quick drainage."
